These Moisturisers are also among the new launches from Sugar. These illuminating moisturizers are available in 3 shades that are Pink, Peach and Gold. The shade I have is Gold Diggin’, I chose the shade Gold thinking that it will suit my dusky skin well rather than peach or pink.

Sugar moisturizer comes packed in a rectangular cardboard box which has all the information regarding the moisturiser on it. The actual moisturizer comes in a sleek black color tube. It has a small nozzle which is great for dispensing the product as needed. It has a matte black twist up cap ensuring that we can carry the product along anywhere without any hassle. Overall I like it’s packaging. The tube is shaped in a way that it can fit in a small pouch without taking lot of space.

These Moisturisers come in 3 shades. I got the shade Gold Diggin which is a beautiful golden colour. Sugar describes it as “Warm Gold with a Pearl Finish”. In reality, the moisturiser is white in color with fine golden reflects in it. It has a very lightweight texture that glides on smoothly on my face.

It is safe to be used on all skin types and does not feel heavy on the skin I have oily acne prone skin and it does not break me out nor caused rashes or redness.

Also it is not very moisturising. So dry skin people will need a good hydrating moisturiser prior using this. It gets absorbed into my skin very quickly and does not feel greasy or oily. Therefore this is great for oily skin.

The moisturiser does not have any chunky glitter in it. Some other illuminators have these chunky reflective particles that end up looking weird.

It can be used as a moisturizer alone or before using any foundation and for the subtle no makeup look I like to apply it only on my cheeks to get that glowy look everyday. It doesn’t make my skin look like a glitter factory and there are hardly any visible shimmer. It provides a very natural looking dewiness.

The subtleness of the finish makes it suitable even for daily use and also for parties or weddings without going over the top.

Being a moisturizer it stays fresh on my skin for about 4 to 5 hours maximum and does not make my skin oily and greasy as time goes. With proper makeup and setting it with a good powder the staying power can be extended further. Also it comes off very easily with water and baby wipes.

Overall I really likes this illuminating moisturizer from Sugar and I will recommend everyone to get it as it is affordable when compared to many strobe creams available like Mac strobe cream. It provides a perfect dewy finish to my skin without making it oily and it is great for girls who like dewy makeup. This product is also available in a number of shades, so you can experiment as per your liking. I will definitely try pink shade once this one gets over.
