In Detail Garnier Ultra Blends Soy Milk Almonds Intense Repair Shampoo Review and My Experience

The Ultra Blends Intense Repair Shampoo is a milky white and delicately fragrant shampoo with a medium thick consistency that makes it incredibly easy to apply and spread, but its not too runny to slip out of your palms during the process.

This Ultra Blends Intense Repair Shampoo smells beautiful, like a soothing gentle scent that reminds me of maybe some rich body moisturiser or something similar. The scent is so unlike a drugstore shampoo and you have to use it to believe what I say. It is a classy scent, atypical of a shampoo available at your supermarket.

The shampoo lathers easily, and the rich creamy lather can be easily spread from roots to tips. It is also as easy to wash off. Shampoo is a pearly white to look at and has a yummy sweet caramel fragrance that I love.

How I Use it

I just lather it on wet hair, massage into scalp and leave on for 2 minutes and then rinse.

Effects

Must say I am mighty impressed with how my hair felt after a wash. I did not use any conditioner to see how the shampoo would work if used just on its own. Also I did not blow dry my hair. As I let my hair air dry naturally, I could feel the gentle scent lingering filling up my nostrils and a feathery softness on my fingertips as I touched my hair. Despite being enriched with Hydrolysed Soy Protein and Sweet Almond Oil, I did not feel any sort of heaviness that one would usually associate with a deep nourishing shampoo.

Even after the second day of the wash, my hair felt light and bouncy, deeply nourished and soft to touch minus any greasiness on the scalp (extra points for that!). The waves in my hair looked beautifully enhanced. Hair strands had more shine than before and that too without a conditioner.

The product does all that it claims, and it managed to keep my hair nourished and frizz free even after the second day of the wash. Especially considering the fact that I have an oily scalp and dry ends, it did not weigh my hair down. The scent is dainty and feminine and quite unlike what I expected out of a drugstore shampoo. It is definitely a must try ( yes I said it! ). This will put a chunk of your hair concerns at bay specially if you are always trying to add some softness to your mane. It is a tad expensive if you compare with other drugstore shampoos, BUT the product delivers what it promises and totally justifies the price! Get it now! This is perhaps the best shampoo in the whole range.

MBF Advises

1. Run a wide-toothed comb through your hair while shampooing. This will detangle and moisturize every single strand of hair – but be careful not to tug hard.
2. Hair can be extra frizzy in monsoons.  Try following these tips – How to manage frizzy hair during humid monsoons.
3. Be very gentle on the roots of the hair always, specially if you are facing hair fall.

Yes, Mariyam, it is worth it for the price – I’m only concerned with the presence of sulphates!
