I got my hands on their mousse foundation named as Faces Ultime Pro Matte Mousse Foundation. I absolutely love Faces products especially their Kajals and lipsticks. I did not have any of their foundation ranges yet. Therefore, when I saw this, grabbed it asap. To know more about this newly launched foundation from them, please keep reading my views on it below.

Take the desired quantity of the product and apply with your fingers or Faces Canada foundation brush on your face and neck area.

In Detail Faces Ultime Pro Matte Mousse Foundation Review, Swatches and My Experience

The faces mousse foundation comes packed in a black rectangular sleek cardboard box with every necessary information related to the foundation printed on it in silver. The actual foundation comes in a matte black tube with metallic silver twist open cap.

The cap closes tightly and the tube is very sleek and compact which ensures that this foundation is definitely travel friendly. The tube has a very thin nozzle to it which dispenses the right amount of foundation on pressing. Hence does not lead to wastage which I like. Overall I really like its packaging, its simple, easy to carry and cute.

The foundation comes in total of 4 shades which is very disappointing. I think faces should come up with at least 6 shades for our dusky Indian beauties.

The shade I purchased is 04 sand which is the darkest shade available in this range. My skin tone in Mac is NC 42 and in Maybelline fit me is Warm Honey. And the shade 04 sand unfortunately is 1 shade lighter than my complexion, so that, means ladies with skin tone deeper than mine ill not find their match in this foundation range.

This mousse has a strong floral smell which bothers me sometimes but as time goes it do gets vanished.

The texture of the foundation is like a whipped cream. It feels very silky when I touch it. It is so lightweight that it does not feel that I have applied a good layer of foundation on my face. It has a perfect texture and consistency an oily skin girl would need especially in this hot and humid weather.

This foundation has a sheer to medium coverage. It just evens out my skin and conceals very minor imperfections. I am a full coverage kind of a person because I have a very problematic skin. So I need to conceal my dark spots and pigmentation with a concealer whenever I am using this foundation.

It glides on my face effortlessly and gets blended very easily. The better way to apply this foundation is with your fingers. I applied it with a beauty blender as well, but it was not getting blended that well. Also, applying it with a brush gave me a streaky application.

Therefore I prefer applying it with fingers rather than any tool. I also noticed that it got settled in my fine lines under my eyes and also on my open pores so I will not suggest dry skin beauties to try it out.

The Foundation stays fresh for 4 to 5 hours and the longevity increases with frequent touch ups. I don’t set it with a compact immediately as the finish itself is Oil free and Mattifying. I just powder it only after 3 hours of wear to extend the staying power.

I also noticed the foundation to survive few splashes of washes without running down on the face, so the formula is water resistant to a certain extent. And it does not melt down with sweat too which is boon for me because my face sweats a lot.

1. I will recommend this mousse foundation for those girls who have extremely oily skin and cannot stand wearing heavy foundations in summers.
2. Do not need to apply a setting powder or compact powder as this foundation is mattifying enough.
3. Apply a good hydrating moisturiser before applying this foundation as it is mattifying no matter what skin type you have.
