Today I am going to talk about my experience with this mask when I used it. If you’re new to my blog, I have combination skin. I get occasional breakouts and just love a good skin care product. Well, let me take you to the details and tell you all I have to say about this mask sheet.

How to Use TonyMoly I’m Red Wine Mask Sheet

1. Apply mask on clean and towel dried face.
2. Keep mask on face for 20-30 minutes.
3. When time is up, remove mask and gently pat excess essence onto face and neck until fully absorbed.

Tip: For an extra cooling and soothing effect, store your masks in the refrigerator.

In Detail TonyMoly I’m Red Wine Mask Sheet Review and My Experience

The mask comes in a really fun plum red/pink packaging. Every single mask from TonyMoly’s I’m real range has a different cut design on top and a different colour theme based on the sheet mask content. Its easy to use and take along while travelling.

Well Red Wine has a specific ingredient called “Resveratrol” which is very good for skin. Also it has “Polyphenols” which again have protective properties for the skin. Basically both these ingredients have protective and reparative properties which are very beneficial for our skin.

When you take the mask out of the packet, it has a rather okay smell. I haven’t had wine really, but smelled a lot of them for sure. But still, it doesn’t have that real classic red wine smell to it. Its slightly a sweeter version may be. Its okay though, not something bothersome.

How I Use it

I pull out the mask and gently place it over my freshly cleansed facial skin. It needs a little bit of adjustment specially around my nose and chin area as it feels slightly big. I let it stay put for like 20-25 minuted till its almost dry but not completely.

Then I take it off and pat in any remaining serum on my skin. You don’t have to wash your face after taking it off. The serum is really light weight. Whatever was left in the packet, I simply applied it on my arms and forearms because these days my life has been really hectic.

If you wish you can store the remaining serum in the fridge and use it on your facial skin later.

Effects

As soon as I remove the mask, I went up close to the mirror to look at my pores. Well, they looked pretty much the same to me :/ . But, what I loved about this mask was how it took away all the dullness from my skin. It just moisturised and nourished my skin so well, that my skin looked brighter and healthier. For sometime, I had the “glass skin” effect going on and I loved it. My skin felt softer to touch too.

That lovely glass skin effect only lasted for about half a day. However, my skin still looked so much better throughout the day. Even next day when I woke up, my skin looked brighter than usual days. I guess its all because of the deep hydration this mask provides.

My only disappointment was, it didn’t actually do anything to my pores. All these effects were almost gone completely by next day. So, while I love the fact that it actually clarified my skin and deeply nourished it, I was quite disappointed with the short lasting effects.

The mask was non oily, and didn’t leave any residue behind. So you can actually put on makeup right after using this. The makeup would look better because a well hydrated skin always and always appears so much nicer with good makeup on.

2. Use it as a refreshing mask for your skin when you come back home after work, it just adds so much life to the skin.
3. Do not wait for the mask to dry completely before taking it off. If you wait for it to dry completely, it might actually draw out the moisture from the skin instead.
