I will be reviewing a serum from the brand Klairs named Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drops which is basically a vitamin c serum.

Klairs is a korean brand aimed to make skincare products especially for sensitive skin. I always invest money in my skincare products than that of makeup products. I think that when our skin quality will be good no matter what and how much makeup we apply it will look excellent. Let me know guys what you all think. How To Use Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

For Normal / Combination to Oily Skin – After cleansing, apply an amount of about half the dropper to the entire face area. Gently massage into the entire face using the palms and body heat to work into the skin.
For Sensitive Skin – After cleansing, prep the skin with toner and apply about 3-4 droplets of the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop evenly onto the skin. For extra sensitive skin, try mixing a few drops into preferred serum or lotion until the skin is used to the product.

In Detail Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Review, Swatches and My Experience

The Klairs Vitamin Drops comes in a white holographic rectangular cardboard box. In fact because of that holographic packaging, it was a very tough task for me to get one perfect picture. The holograph was way too shiny to be captured by camera perfectly. The actual serum comes packed in a small transparent plastic bottle which also has holographic lables. With that dropper it looks like a baby’s medicine. Normally Vitamin C serums come in a dark glass bottles but this does not.

The dropper packaging is very hygienic and convenient to use. I fill in the dropper and than pour one one drop on both of my cheeks, chin, forehead and neck area and gently massage it all over my face and neck for absorption.

The texture of this serum is little thick and slippery. Generally vitamin c serums which I have seen are water based, but this is oil based. When I first applied it, I was shocked as it looked very oily even after massaging it on my skin for a minute. I have very oily skin. However, it got completely absorbed into the skin after a while, and gave me a matte look. Then my skin looked like I was glowing from within.

When I massage in into my skin, I do felt a warmth which is mild and tolerable. It does sting a little bit so please don’t use it on broken skin or immediately after exfoliating your skin. They say that it can be used in morning and evening but I recommend you to use it only at night for best results.

My serum turned yellowish in color now. It was colourless when I first opened it but I read that it is absolutely normal if serum turned golden yellow in colour. It will not effect the efficacy of the serum. I store my serum in fridge for safety as vitamin c serums are very delicate if not stored or used properly it may loose its effectivity.

It has a citrusy fragrance which is very mild and does not bother my sensitive nose at all.

Before, my skin had became really bad as it was breaking out a lot and that had left acne scars all over my cheeks. I was following my skincare routine religiously but nothing was helping so my friend recommended me to use vitamin c serum. I searched a lot of vitamin c serums online and came to know about this serum. So I ordered it from online and started using it regularly.

Its been three weeks or more since I have been using this serum and I have definitely seen a noticeable change in texture of my skin. My skin looks brighter and clearer.

However, my dark spots are still there although it has lightened but very very slightly. It’s not good for beauties with acne. It doesn’t heal acne. In fact, it doesn’t do anything as far as active acne is concerned. But otherwise, with it my skin has become smooth and the dullness is completely gone.

Cons Of Dear klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

1. It’s warm on the skin, and does not heal acne which cause dark spots.
2. Takes more than 3 weeks to show results.
3. It has only 5 percent of vitamin c which is very minimal.

MBF Advises

1. Use this serum within 2 to 3 months because it changes it color rapidly when it will turn dark it will not show its results I think. (But the brand says its totally normal for the serum to change colour)
2. Do not apply it on broken and freshly exfoliated skin as it may sting badly.
3. Keep this serum in cool and dry place. I keep it in my fridge.
4. Add vitamin c serum in your beauty regime as it works wonders for your skin if used correctly.
