Fabindia Honey Oatmeal Shampoo Review, Swatch and My Experience
I am a dry hair person and therefore, I am always on the lookout for moisturising products. This shampoo is formulated with honey and oatmeal extract and they do a good job at moisturising. In fact, this shampoo was a gift for me. I am glad that its for dry hair, otherwise would have been of no use to me.
The shampoo comes in a tall, sturdy plastic white bottle with flip open cap. All the details are mentioned at the back of the bottle. The packaging focuses more on being simple and basic, nothing fancy about it. You can easily take it along while travelling. You need to squeeze the bottle to dispense the product. The quantity is appropriate when dispensed, neither too much nor too less leading to no wastage.
The color of the shampoo is white and its consistency is medium. The shampoo is not runny or thick, somewhere in between. You do not need a lot of product. A little quantity will suffice and it lathers quite well. This means this bottle will last you long enough. The fragrance is again very mild like the Fabindia silk protein body wash that I had reviewed few days back. While applying any other shampoo the whole washroom smells of the product. One can easily find out which shampoo I just used. But with this, there will be no trace of any fragrance whatsoever. Very mild scent that does not linger after wash.
It does a good job at cleaning the scalp and hair. Quickly gets rinsed without much effort. Leaves hair soft and does not rip the moisture out. You can skip the conditioner as it does a decent job. FabIndia does not test the products on animals and neither it contains any kind of harmful chemicals. This is a big plus point.
Overall, I feel you need not specially go and try this shampoo as there are no unique features. If you want a daily basic cleanser that is mild and hydrating, only then you may go ahead and purchase it.

- The frequency of shampooing your hair depends totally on person to person. I feel your hair itself tells you when it needs to be washed and if you are the kinds who likes to wash it frequently then choose a mild shampoo suitable for everyday use.
