Well I opted for the second one this weekend. Though there was no huge haul as such, I realised that most of the stuff that I bought were a repurchase as my existing stock was almost over. While sipping my cup of tea post shopping at a café, me and my friend decided to pick some basic day to day stuff from Marks & Spenser.

I must admit here that the quality of stuff at Marks & Spenser is excellent and I have been their happy customer from a long time. While billing, I noticed some perfumes and deodorants at the counter and picked a couple of them keeping my upcoming travels in mind. In Detail Marks & Spenser Rose Anti-Perspirant Roll-On Deodorant Review, Swatches and My Experience

I remember that I had started my journey of deodorants with Roll on types before exploring the world of the deo-sprays. Both have their own pros and cons and hence I use both of them based on the clothes that I wear.

I noticed that when I used the roll on type of deodorants before wearing a top or kurta, it usually leaves a stain on the cloth at different places while I pull down the dress. The deodorant generally gets rubbed off from its intended place and spreads to all other parts of the dress leaving a stain.

So for all practical reasons, I started using the roll on type of deodorants exclusively for sleeveless tops or dresses. Also I always noticed that the same can be reapplied if required in hush- hush without anyone knowing about it and the same is usually long lasting and hence helps in avoiding any kind of embarrassments of sweat or body odor. Also roll on type of deodorants are long lasting.

To be frank, I felt the packaging was too boring. It’s a plastic white colored opaque bottle which is quite sturdy with a transparent cap which is screw typed. The roll- on ball under neat is translucent type. There is no fragrance as such when I open the bottle.

Usage & Effects

However, when the deodorant is applied one notices a thin white colored liquid that comes out of the product. It has a nice mild but prominent fragrance of roses which is definitely not over the top. Its non-disturbing and stays on easily for 6-7 hours. There is no smell of sweat at all when this is applied and the rose fragrance easily masks it. The fragrance feels natural.

While generally one does not feel the fragrance of the applied deodorant but when the arms are lifted one can smell the mild fragrance of roses. Since its made of plastic and is small in size it fits in the purse easily and is convenient for travels.

Also I felt the pricing was very decent and matched with the other ones available in the departmental stores.

It is easily available across all Marks & Spencer stores and has a good life time of 2 years though I am sure I am going to finish it easily in 2 months itself. The deodorant is alcohol free and I am thoroughly satisfied by this, every time I use.

I have used this many times in the past and along with the other ones from MNS but I would definitely want to pick this up on any given day without any second thoughts and would definitely recommend all to give this one a try.
