Now that the wedding season is over and I am back to my world, I realise how much I have hoarded over the past few months from different brands. Its time now to segregate them according to the seasonal use and put them in separate vanity bags.

Body butters, thick creams, foundations etc. are kept aside as they are not going to be used by me in the next 1-2 months for sure. Make up brushes used during the travels etc. are cleaned, dried and put in the travel kit.

Party wear clothes jewellery dry-cleaned and sorted to be kept aside. While there is a huge preparation that goes before the wedding season there is surely some considerable amount that goes in the post wedding organization too.  Today’s review is about a lip balm from Kama Ayurveda again. In Detail Kama Ayurveda Rose Lip Balm Review, Swatches and My Experience

Wild roses seems to mesmerize me off late. I am loving the mild fragrance of them in my shampoo, hand cream, body cream and lip balms. I have even started using a rose room diffuser as well. I think AND and GLOBAL DESI stores got them on me. Their stores always smell of fresh roses and their clothes too have the fragrance on for a very long time.

From then on I have not been able to get them off from my mind. Also strangely, many of the products are from either Fab India or Kama in my kitty and a majority of them have Rose as their main ingredient.

To be frank, I am not a lip balm user for the reason that I forget to use it most of the times. I own a lot of them only to realise that they expired without being opened too.  I picked this as I was experiencing very dry and flaky lips, which used to hurt me a lot.  

The Kama Ayurveda Rose Lip Balm comes in a beautiful cardboard with rose picture on it. The lip balm itself comes in a small sturdy acrylic transparent round tub with a black colored screw type cap. There is a white colored stopper as well inside that keeps the product intact.

The lip balm has a very mild fragrance of rose in it. The lip balm is light cream-ish in color, which I guess is due to the presence of almond oil. When scooped with finger a very little quantity of the product comes out which is sufficient to apply on the lips.

My lips feel moisturized instantly and the balm feels super light on application. There is a slight sheen on the lips as there no added color and with continuous application day and night, the dryness has reduced considerably and the flakiness has vanished completely. My lips feel soft. There is no heavy feeling at all what so ever.

I make sure to clean my hands thoroughly when even I use this lip balm and do not share it with anyone for hygienic reasons. However, these are possible when one is at home. It is not possible during travels, for this reason I would have preferred a lipstick type of a packaging and I do not have to dig my fingers.

In addition, since I have nails, there is a strong possibility of some of the balm sticking on to my nails. Though this is the only flaw with the balm I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the product as its make of pure organic bees was due to which it is so expensive.  

It is a very effective lip balm for chapped lips in the most organic form if you do not mind the price.
